Chicken Pakora Recipe
Chicken Pakora is a popular Pakistani snack that consists of boneless chicken pieces that are coated in a spiced batter made with chickpea flour and deep-fried until golden and crispy. Ingredients to make Chicken Pakora
- Chicken boneless 1 cup
- Soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Chili garlic sauce 1 tbsp
- Salt a pinch (if required)
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- For batter:
- Gram flour (besan) 1/2 cup
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Baking powder 1/2 tsp
- Water to make paste
- Oil for frying
Process of Making Chicken Pakora
- 1- First marinate chicken with soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, salt, and lemon juice.
- 2- Keep the marinated chicken in fridge for minimum 1/2 hour.
- 3- Then in a mixing bowl, add gram flour, salt and baking powder.
- 4- Make a thick paste with water.
- 5- Then, dip each piece of marinated chicken in gram flour mixture and deep fry in medium hot oil till chicken tender and get a good golden color on top.
- 6- Put them on paper towel to absorb excess oil.
- 7- Serve with ketchup or with your favorite chutney and enjoy.
