The largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, Baskin-Robbins, officially entered the Pakistani market in 2017 through a master licensing agreement with AHG Flavours (Pvt.) Limited. The agreement talks about developing 35 Baskin-Robbins outlets across the country, starting with a focus in Lahore.
The first outlet in Karachi was opened in June 2018 at 3Com Tower across from Bilawal Chowrangi. The grand opening event was ushered in by a soft opening on June 5th, 2018, when children from the SOS Village in Karachi were invited as the first guests, symbolizing the brand’s commitment to sharing happiness and fun.
Baskin-Robbins outlets in Pakistan have a range of traditional flavors such as Pralines ‘n Cream, Jamoca® Almond Fudge, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Very Berry Strawberry. Added to these, the regional favorites Mango Tango and Tiramisu cater to local taste buds. The brand also has a comprehensive selection of custom ice cream cakes, frozen beverages, ice cream sundaes, and take-home ice cream treats.
Currently, Baskin-Robbins has multiple outlets established in major cities in Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and Hyderabad. The first three mentioned cities embrace ice cream through various branches in Lahore, such as the MBK Institute in DHA Phase 3, Kasuri Road, and Bahria Town. Almost every area of Karachi has an outlet: Khayaban-e-Bukhari, Bahadurabad, Jinnah Avenue, and COM 3 Tower. In Islamabad, Baskin-Robbins is available at F-11 Markaz, Giga Mall, F-6, Centaurus Mall, and Safa Mall. Hyderabad has an outlet located at Sky Cave Mall on Autobahn Road.
The menu here is diverse: family packs in various sizes, cups, cones, waffle cones, sundaes, ice cream cakes, and shakes available to customize. Prices range from PKR 370 for a single scoop cup or cone to PKR 7,800 for one celebration cake.
